Perspective is not my strong point. It's like exercise, I can understand it's importance but also have no interest in it. I generally prefer drawing with a brush instead of pencil, so swapped to watercolour in the second image which I think is visually more interesting than the first, even if it's not a great example of using perspective.

These illustrations from M.Sasek's 'This is London' book use perspective in a really beautiful way that doesn't appear rigidly structured or over technical.I think that swooping line of the train tracks in particular is aesthetically pleasing but also what adds depth to the image. Useful and attractive! It also has a painterly quality that interests me (not to mention mid-century illustration in general)
