WEEK 2- ASHMOLEAN

At the Ashmolean I tried using mostly watercolour and brushes as I feel that is the medium that produces the most interesting looking work for me. I still need to practice perspective, especially with buildings, but then maybe I will just avoid drawing architecture for the rest of my career. I think if I can try and introduce more perspective into my narrative work then I can use it in the way that I want and apply it to what I want to do.

I enjoyed seeing and sketching the Raphael and Michelangelo studies much more, as I generally prefer to draw bodies rather than buildings. Also I think it is useful to study another artists work as you can sometimes deduct how they have drawn a certain area and in turn influences your own line and the way you draw.
